Wedding Pricing
At Blessings in Bloom, it is our goal to provide the most beautiful floral arrangements for your special event at the most affordable prices. With that goal in mind, we have put together some packages for your wedding (in case you want flowers only for the wedding party, ceremony or the reception). We have provided information about minimum and maximum for those packages and for various floral arrangements. Keep in mind that you can create a custom package that includes exactly what you want and need, rather than purchase one of these package bundles. We are also happy to discuss your creative ideas that may include floral arrangements that are not mentioned here. All prices are approximate.
HOW TO INCLUDE EXQUISITE FLORAL DESIGN ON A TIGHT BUDGET
At Blessings in Bloom, we have been a part of assisting with hundreds of special events and one thing we have learned is that bigger is not always better and that there are advantages to using artificial, rather than fresh floral arrangements. With that in mind, we have some suggestions for those who want to have an aesthetically beautiful wedding while also keeping wedding costs lower.
1. If you are getting married in a location that already has a lot of beautiful gardens or regular floral arrangements on display, having lots of flowers for your wedding, ceremony and reception can amount to too much color or too much for the eye to take in. In this case, THE BASIC WEDDING PACKAGE might be a better option for you.
2. If you are getting married during the Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter or Summer seasons, find out what sort of seasonal decorations are typically on display at your chosen venue. Often, the seasonal decorations can account for half or more of the decorations you would like to have at your event.
3. Consider reusing bridesmaids’ bouquets after the ceremony, for some of your centerpieces or other floral décor needs.
4. Consider putting long tables together for dining at the reception, with people sitting on each side of them. Put a flower garland in the middle of the table along with lighting. This is less expensive than purchasing several flower arrangements.
5. Weather can put a damper on outdoor events and decorations, and we know that weather is very unpredictable and changes often in Colorado so consider using artificial decorations that tend to hold up to wind, rain, snow and other weather events.
6. Also, you can choose artificial flowers and get exactly the look you want as they will always be “in season” and they have improved in quality to the extent that you often cannot tell if they are real or artificial. Also, you might want to use a combination of real and artificial flowers to keep your costs down.
7. Given the high cost of travel these days and airline or weather delays that sometimes interfere with out-of-town guests getting to special events, many brides and grooms are including an option for guests to attend virtually. This may also be a better option for elderly family members or those with young children who are concerned about finding childcare in a new location when family members who might otherwise be available to watch their children will be at the wedding. Consider providing a link for some of your guests to join virtually and thus reduce the number of people who will be attending in person. This will reduce your cost for rental of space, food and drink, floral arrangements, food and other items.
